How do I become a member?

Becoming a member is easy, the entire process is online and can be completed in a few minutes.

Please follow the link to PMI.org to start the process by first creating a PMI account, if you have not already done so. Then you will be instructed to choose the type of membership and your local chapter. The final steps are to enter your banking information, confirm your personal information and submit. Once submitted, you will recieve confirmation of your payment via email.

The total cost for membership may vary depnding on type student, retirement or the general membership. General membership including the chapter membership is USD$174.00 for the first year and USD$164 or each subseqent year.

One full year membership. Amounts are listed in U.S. dollars.
General Membership - $174
Membership Renewal - $164
Student Membership - $42
Retiree Membership - $75

Renewing My membership

PMI Jamaica no longer accepts PMI membership payments on behalf of its members, instead we ask that you use the online portal. Log on to PMI.org and go to your myPMI profile. From there, you can access your dashboard to renew your PMI and chapter membership.

Can my company pay my membership fees?

PMI Jamaica urges companies to use PMI's group billing plan. You can add or remove members at any time using a form that we will provide to your main contact. Complete the form and send it to us with payment for each group of new applications and/or membership renewals.
