How do I become a member?

Becoming a member is easy, the entire process is online and can be completed in a few minutes.

Please follow the link to PMI.org to start the process by first creating a PMI account, if you have not already done so. Then you will be instructed to choose the type of membership and your local chapter. The final steps are to enter your banking information, confirm your personal information and submit. Once submitted, you will recieve confirmation of your payment via email.

The total cost for membership may vary depnding on type student, retirement or the general membership. General membership including the chapter membership is USD$174.00 for the first year and USD$164 or each subseqent year.

New Membership Fee – $174

Membership Renewal Fee – $164

Student Membership – US$42/yr

Get all of the member benefits and become part of the world’s largest PM network. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a full-time, degree-granting program at a college or university that has U.S. accreditation or the global equivalent.

Retiree Membership – US$65/yr to renew

Stay involved with the PM community for a special rate if you’ve been a PMI member in good standing for five consecutive years and have retired from active employment.

Renewing My Membership

PMI Jamaica no longer accepts PMI membership payments on behalf of its members, instead, we ask that you use the online portal. Log on to PMI.org and go to your myPMI profile. From there, you can access your dashboard to renew your PMI and chapter membership.

Can my company pay my membership fees?

Companies who wish to sponsor 15 or more of their employees for their PMI membership may do so under PMI’s group billing plan. For further details of PMI’s group billing plan click the button below
