Ms. Anaitee Mills, PMP
Anaitée Mills has over 10 years of experience working in sustainable development, consulting for highly reputable international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the NDC Partnership.
Prior to permanently moving to Jamaica, Anaitée worked for the Energy and Climate Change Sector Divisions of the IDB in Washington, DC providing research, technical and operational support focusing on climate resilience, sustainability and low-carbon development in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Belize, Barbados, Guyana, among others.
She has extensive public sector experience having collaborated with several high-level government officials in Latin America and the Caribbean in the energy, water and agriculture sectors with policy analysis and multi-stakeholder engagement. Currently, she collaborates with the Government of Jamaica as a Climate Consultant in topics such as Climate Finance, Disaster Risk Financing and Transparency. She is now coordinating Jamaica’s Climate Action Enhancement Programme, involving 11 sub-projects and 5 donors. She also supports the Climate Change Division with high-level events engagement with the United Nations having recently coordinated the successful participation of Jamaica’s Prime Minister at the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit.
Anaitee holds a BSc in Human Resources Administration and has pursued further postgraduate studies in international relations, climate change and development. She is now a postgraduate student at the School of Advanced Studies, University of London and an active member of the Project Management Institute, Jamaica Chapter and the Jamaica Institute of Environment Professionals.
