COVID-19 Strategic Action Plan

During this period of the COVID-19 pandemic, our commitment remains strong to you our valued members, volunteers & community.  We commit to:

Strengthening our ‘ENGAGEMENT’
    • Increasing virtual volunteer/member engagement 
    • Transitioning to virtual Monthly Chapter Meetings (Earn 1 PDU by attending) 
    • Hosting a series of webinars/training to ‘upskill’ Project Managers
    • Transitioning to virtual PMP Prep Exam trainings, coordinated by the Chapter 
    • Posting website updates of project related jobs, PDU opportunities or related web-links
Increasing our ‘PARTNERSHIP’
    • Establishing a multidisciplinary PMI Jamaica COVID-19 Task Force
    • Collaborating with PMI chapters and public/private sector on CVOD-19 response initiatives
    • Providing ‘on demand’ strategic project management advisory and support to organizations in navigating these uncertain times 
Improving our ‘AGILITY’
    • Expanding & leveraging the use of technology & tools, to include: Zoom; Skype; Google Hangouts; WebEx; Podcast; & online collaboration tools, et al
    • Promoting & facilitating online registration for Chapter Volunteer Committees (open to members & non members)

Be resilient and manage the change happening around you.

Create and document lessons learnt during the pandemic.

Develop increased cycle review meetings for your projects, programmes or portfolios.

Maximize emerging opportunities to ‘Tool Up’ in the discipline of Project Management by:
