We are a medium sized firm specializing in Audit and Assurance, Corporate Finance, Business Advisory and Accounting, with an average of thirty clients, and growing.

About this role

There are two primary functions for this role as Engagement Support Administrator, they include client relations management and engagement (project) management and support. The role requires an active individual who is willing to work, communicative, assertive in identifying and implementing solutions, results-oriented with a keen eye for detail, and proactively seeks to grow and develop their skills. Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is a key factor to succeeding in this role, both in perspective and time availability.

Responsibilities:

Your work and specific responsibilities will include:

Client care:

  • Prepare and edit presentations, proposals, bids, contracts, letters, and professional business communication documents including invoices
  • Complete the necessary client due diligence, onboarding and offboarding procedures and setting up of new engagement/client records in CaseWare.
  • Ensure compliance and contractual requirements are met and maintained throughout the duration of a client engagement.
  • Update internal systems with client financial and project information as well as workflows including Microsoft Project.
  • Gain a strong understanding of FST and CURINAM processes and policies.
  • Maintain a client engagement contract registry and calendar.

Project management:

  • · Project planning: Establish a timeline of your project support tasks i.e. capturing dates for document/report preparation, billing and key meetings.
  • · Manage, monitor, and report on progress against milestones of the project plan.
  • · Use internal project management systems to assist with the coordination of the project. This involves adding and updating the status of your assigned tasks
  • · Assist with preparing and reviewing budgets; billing; analysing, monitoring and reporting project finances.
  • · Update and review internal resource management system so that client facing teams have the most up to date view of the project’s resourcing position.
  • · Take accurate and detailed minutes of required meetings i.e. agile meetings, client meetings. Where required, recording all actions and circulating to client facing teams for review and final distribution to wider engagement team/client.
  • · Use client collaboration sites to process client documentation and ensure correct storage of data.
  • · Assist with document request and retrieval from clients to complete engagements.

Technical skills required

  • · At least Three (3) to five (5) years related working experience in project management and accounting is a distinct advantage.
  • · Having experience in the accounting field is an asset.
  • · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in finance.
  • · Certification in project management is a distinct advantage.
  • · Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • · Highly organized and analytical, with an eye for detail and good with numbers.
  • · Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • · Must be confidential.
  • · Possesses a driver’s license (owning a motor vehicle would be an asset).

Salary range: $1,800,000.00 to $2,160,000.00 and travelling allowance of $240,000.00 per annum.
